Imprint Methods

Three Imprint Methods to Choose From

Below are descriptions of the three imprint methods that you can choose from to customize your aprons:

Embroidery
Embroidery is our most popular imprint method. It creates a high-quality, rich-looking result with vibrant and steadfast colors. Embroidery is usually a little more costly than other imprint methods, but the quality of the results makes the cost well worth it. It's best used for short lines of text (usually no more than 15-20 characters per line is best) and for relatively simple logos and designs. Using thread does not enable the quality of very fine details as much as printing, so keep that in mind in your considerations. Embroidery can be used on any color apron. You can use your own company logo (conversion to a stitch file is required) or choose from over 20,000 stock designs from our design library. Or you can simply choose to use text only and choose from many of our stock embroidery font styles. There are no minimums required for this imprint method.

Screen Printing
Screen printing is best used for larger quantity orders (minimum order of 12 aprons is required) with relatively simple artwork. We can print up to 6 colors and it is best if they are all solid colors. We can match your Pantone (PMS) colors of your logo if desired. Pricing for screen printing depends on the number of colors to print and the quantity of aprons needed. We've simplified the ordering process for up to 3 print colors so that you can place such orders online. For more complicated orders involving more colors, please call us for a quote. Screen printing can be used with any of our apron colors.

Digital Printing
Our digital print method is "the new kid on the block". This relatively new technology allows us to print directly on the apron, much like your printer prints on paper. This enables us to use unlimited colors and details, again, just as if you were printing the image on paper. The limitation with this method is that it can only be used on white aprons. The types of artwork that would be best for use of the digital print is artwork with many colors and detail (included photographs). There are no minimum aprons required for this imprint method.

To get started with any of these imprint methods, first, view the "All Aprons" category to select an apron style. You will then be prompted to "Add Emroidery, Screen Print, or Digital Print" to the apron selected.
